WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL!

It remains a pleasure for our Staff and the School Governing Body of Windermere Primary School to extend a very warm welcome to all our parents and learners for 2024.  We trust we will maintain the excellent working relationship we have with all our parents. Please feel free to contact us, should you wish to discuss any matter of importance pertaining to your child.

We do however, request, that you phone to make an appointment beforehand, as our educators are involved in class teaching and are not permitted to consult with parents during learner-teacher contact time.

Please be advised that parents/guardians are not allowed to go directly to the classrooms, but to report to the secretary’s office for permission to see the principal or an educator.

SCHOOL TIMES
All learners must be at school at 07h45. The school will start promptly at 07h50 (7.50am).

We hereby wish to inform you that the learners will be dismissed as follows:

  1. Parents, please make the necessary travelling arrangements for your child.
  2. Please be advised to use the big gate (far right) opposite Gr-R and 1 classrooms to fetch your children after they have been dismissed.
  3. Please do not use the corridors of the main building as a walk through.
  4. It is important that parents do not request learners to leave earlier than their dismissal time. We would only allow it as an emergency.
  5. We also request that parents respect teachers while they are engaged in teaching during teacher-learner contact time.

We trust to have your co-operation and unselfish commitment.

Thanking you in the education of your child.

Dear Parents/Guardians

We would like to welcome back all our learners and new learners for 2024. We trust that we are going to have a successful year and that we can depend on our learners and parents' co-operation as in the past. We encourage our learners to stay motivated and our parents to encourage our learners to strive to always do their best.

Kind Regards
The Principal and all the Staff of Windermere Primary

Yesterday 29 November 2024, our Marching Band was asked to lead the march in Kensington yesterday from the Kensington Day hospital to the Kensington police station in commemoration of World AIDS Day.
